Snapchat contains a number of filters that you can add to your picture. Just swipe your screen left or right. Filters include the current temperature; the current speed, the time, and different light contrasts

Grimacing face – You and this person each send the most snaps to your number one best friend/contact on snapchat.
Fire – Indicates a snap streak! You have sent them a number of snaps, which they have responded to with snaps.
100 symbol – 100-day snap streak. You have been snapchatting with this person for 100 days in a row.
Birthday cake – It is this person’s birthday today.
Baby face – You just became friends with this snapchatter.
Goldstar – This person has replayed your snap in the past 24 hours.
Hourglass – Your snap streak with this person is about to expire
How to enable emojis on iPhone and Samsung smartphones:
- Log into your settings for Snapchat (under the gear icon).
- Select “Manage” under “Additional Services”
- Turn on “Special Text”
- Go to the settings menu in your phone
- Under individual setting press “Language & Input”
- Search for “iWnn IME” if is not already empowered
- If the emoji console is not activated, activate it buy holding down the space bar and selecting “Emoji”
A good thing to remember is that while pictures disappear on snapchat, people can take screen shots of their phone.
